That historic bridge almost looks new?

As a young teen (early 70's)on the way to my hols, we used to stop off in Tad' for the adults to get a paper and have a fag.

I can remember everyone looking over the bridge. I was amazed to see loads of barbel and chub fish just floating in the clear water.

It's one of the memories that got me in to angling.

The bridge was rebuilt after part of it collapsed in the 2016 floods.

Really nice and peaceful but a bit cold

Lads further down have just caught something

No pics, must mean, no camera :p

I only went for the scenery anyway ;)
Hey, you were fishing weren’t ya ? 👍 Any kingfishers flying about ? I always seem to see a lot of kingfishers when I fish the Wharfe at Taddy.

How ya feeling anyway ? I bet that’s knocked you for six hasn’t it ?

It is.

A bit dank and grey at the moment but when the banks have grown and the leaves are green its awesome.

Theres a lot of fry in the slack near the bank as well, so the flood water hasn't affected them.
