need a bit of advice

i was using a daiwa s-carp but the top section snapped(reglass top kit[:O])

get the trabucco lucifer its rated 22 elastic very strong a lovely finish slides so easy

I gave up the pole fishing as i couldnt use a full lenght 1 in the end, have you thought about a strong float rod (8lb mainline) to use instead. Iv got the John Wilson Heritage float and its handled Carp to just under 16lbs. I just fish a stick float under the tip and wait for the fun to start. It can be a bit more versitile than a short pole too. If i fancy a laze about i just whop out a small lead and bung it on a buzzer. Mick

i use a maver jurassic short ass and i got this off ebay for 30 condition like brand new. ive had fish to around 25lb on it using red hydro and 0.22

I have been told (by an on looker) i have hooked grass carp to 20lb plus but managed to loose it.

i use red hydro in every kit and have managed to bottom it on that grass carp.

i managed to surface it but the line gave way. :O 0.22 :O i was amazed.

my float decintergrated under the pressure of the line

Leeda do a margin pole thats around 40 quid, supposed to be very strong.

2xl carp attack.

I use a Fox Sideliner. Its a 7 1/2 mtr, with free extension to 8 1/2mtr.

Strong, reasonable price at 99. Plus top kits are only 20!

Hunt round and you could get one for alot less.[]

got the original lucifer, strong as an ox.

not sure what the later models are like.
