If the Nazis had won, if operation Sealion hadn't been cancelled due to the bravery of the 'few' , Great Britain could have been a very different place, that much is obvious.

Just watching 'Nazi victory' and they were talking about the plans that were found setting out Hitlers ideas for what was going to happen when they conquered and occupied mainland Britain.

Blackpool would have become the British Prora and Hitler had chosen his perfect place to set up his British home, he felt drawn to it, he felt the people of the town held the same thoughts as he did, it was ideal for transport connections etc

Where did Hitler want to live in Great Britain, where did Hitler feel most welcome in Great Britain, where did he feel the British people were most like him......

If Hitler had won I think there would have been an uprising by now. People power would have conquered, the revolution would have overturned the Nazis.

Can you imagine popping down the Severn at Bridgnorth and finding old Adolph in your favourite swim 😂😂

Must admit, i do sit and wonder just what this great nation would be like if the Nazis had won.

I and a lot of others wouldn't be around, we'd have been slung in the ovens a long time back, a lot of the idiots who think the country would have been better under the Furher and his minions would also have been in a bit of shock at being marched into those lovely camps that ensured everyone had jobs!

Blackpool the admistration choice of the Nazis in the UK.

Would they have turned the Ballroom into the government headquarters and arranged visits?

Can just see it advertised now.

It is doubtful if the Germans could have sustained an invasion of the UK as with the overwhelming power of the British home fleet getting supplies and reinforcements across the channel and safely ashore would prove very difficult. We may have lost a good few ships but in the end the German troops that invaded would run out of ammo and supplies plus the British people would probably never have stopped fighting. Hitler himself was not to keen on invading and was driven by his military leaders that were still on a high after the ease that they swept through the rest of Europe.
He was very wary as he knew he didn't have the ships available to get his armour ashore and also protect them while they were unloading

It's all of course hypothetical but if Germany had invaded it would have meant that they also had air superiority.
Air superiority would mean the RN were being attacked both by air and U- Boats.
This would have been enough to attack the RN at sea and where ever they had left to base the navy- which would have been nowhere.

Let us not forget that if Hitler had not invaded the east (USSR) as well as the west, we would have been dust! the war was won by the all of the allied troops, the UK a small (but important) part of that.

Exactly, it was only because Great Britain won the battle of Britain that operation sealion was cancelled, if Germany had won it the RN would have had little to no air cover and would have been bombed/torpedoed into oblivion.

The same with the Atlantic convoys, they would have stopped coming because they would have had no air cover, even using the Irish corridor the RAF would have been attacked once they were over the water.

According to Hitlers paperwork he wanted to turn Acton hall into his English residence

Hitler wouldn't have ruled here as such, he would have installed a puppet regime and leader like Quizling in Norway

No doubt the Vichy French would have worked the politics angle so well and got involved

Instead we now have puppet regimes and leaders across Europe installed by the media
