My Rum christmas cake

Made mine this morning. 1cup of sugar,1 tsp baking powder,1 cup of water,1 tsp of salt,1 cup of brown sugar,lemon juice,4 large eggs, 1 bottle of rum,2 cups dried fruit. Sample cup of rum to check quality. Take a large bowl,check rum again to be sure it's the highest quality,then repeat.turn on the electric mixer and beat one cup of butter,in a large fluffy bowl,add 1 tsp of sugar,at this point it's best to make sure the rum is still ok,try another cup just in case.turn off the mixerer thing,break 2 eegs and add to the bowl.Chuck in the cup of dried fruit.pick the fruit up off the floor,wash it and put in the bowl a piece at a time,trying to count it.mix on the turner,if the dried fruit getas stuck in the beaterers just pry it loose with a drewscriver.check the rum to test for tonsisticity.next sift 2 cups of salt or something.check the rum.now suit sift the Lemmon juice,and strain your nuts.add 1 table,add a spoon of sugar or somefink whatever you can find.greash the oven,turn the cake tin 180 degees.don't forget to beat off the turner.finally throw the bowl through the window,finissh the rum,and wipe the counter with a cat.

All good Xmas cakes need a drop of Rum, also as the cake matures it needs topping up with
spoonfuls of Rum at regular intervals.
