My first tench

hey guys while fishing for carp today i caught my 1st tench around 10oz. I had the shock of my life i tried surface fihsing no luck they just tuck my freebies then i went on waggler on 5lb 3lb bottom got my tench took me into weeds.
didnt catch ought else i was only fishin for 45mins,

I can't get one this season yet, but I'll keep trying.

congratulations garry I can still rememember mine it was from a farmers pool when I was 10 years old it was only about 8 ounces but I remember going to school and telling my mates,there is a pool at gaydon called bishops bowl where the average stamp is about 5 pounds and there are loads of them junction 12 m40 see fisheries.co.uk well worth a visit

the site is running slow today dont you fink or is it just me?
Tench are beautiful fish i couldnt belive the slime on my hand after i Love there dorsal fin or it erects.
there my joint fav with roach im off to change my profile now .
