That is the local church grounds with the river Slaney in the background! Sadly there are no coarse fish in it !

But there used be some lovely trout and the occasional salmon from it in the mid 1960's when I fished it around Baltinglass, and its tributary, the Dereen around Hacketstown. In the days of my youthful innocence in Kiltegan! Haven't been down that way for many years, but maybe next summer.
