Chaps,

It's been bought to my attention that a question about a Swop-lok depthfinder was answered in a thread called "Plummet loss".
I admit not a 100 miles away from the subject...but I never picked it up.

I have often marvelled at the ingenuity of this group to take a subject and for it to morph into some far flung topic.
Precise casting could easily morph to the size of spare tyres...or Ice breaking could easily become the best pick up line....

I have tried to find the creative geniuses....
fantastic minds and no doubt great fun in a pub.

So lets name and fame....what in your view was the most diverted thread...and who sent it off down that road.

I nominate Crusty...for his perfectly timed "can I buy you a drink" as a sure fire ice breaking tip....for winter fishing.

I wasnt having a "go" but asking that a little care and respect be taken, at the end of the day he was asking for help. The least any one could do is ask in a reasonable way.
Right, I've hi jacked this thread now to lol

chill out go fishing

It's all part of the fun [:)]

I'd hate to see the site become boring with everyone answering the questions text-book fashion and it's amazing how one questioncan lead into another and before you know it why do people use apostrophies in their words like ' because I see it and use it myself without realy knowing what it's there for?

have you ever wondered what the world would come to if we could use them because the English language is complicated enough, ask Newt [:)] why we use U's in everything <-- look a little apostrophy slipped in just then and it wasn't really needed <-- it just did it again didn't it [:D]

It's a good job we've got a search function lol

Hi Teepee,

If I'm right, this is 5 bit binary, so it reads david ruan from iremand.
But I think he meant ireland [;)]
cos 1101 = 13 and the 13th letter is m

Do you understand binary?

There are only 10 types of people in the world - Those who understand binary, and those who don't. [:D][:D][:D]
