Just bought this on eBay under a fiver, well made fits 1 pint bait box available in 6mm and 9mm, it is metal and very sturdy and works a treat, used a small block wood to push meat through
My Map one is pretty useless... (I've had 2) the blade chassis all cracked within a year some of the blades fell out, it never worked as they showed on the youtube vids and they are pricey...
Not a fan... I just set too with a knife and chopping board these days as meat usage went down after I stopped match fishing
Love my map meat cutter, had it years never gives me any hassle. The only blade set that doesn’t really work is the 4mm but if you fridge the meat fiat it works a little better, but still prone to produce mush.
Possibly been said but with the MAP make sure you have the cutters in the correct way round, I made the mistake initially as I did not check they have a cutting edge and a blunt side.
I’ve got MAP and Tilley cutters, both have their pros and cons, but I have no complaints about either, both work well, I just use them for different circumstances,
I have the MAP , had it a few years,
At first like has been stated ,make sure the blades are in the right way up.
I thought it was useless after struggling to cube a couple of tins of meat, then when I came to remove blades to clean them I realized the sharp edge was in upside down
