It did fish hard, to be expected really as it’s not a fish a chuck venue and there were matches yesterday. Full results up tomorrow night from the comfort of my hotel room... only another 24 hours to wait! ?

Well organised, and good to see a few new faces as well as a couple of old ones. Really enjoyed the match today even though it was hard. It's not something I could do every week as I'd be bored stiff at these types of venues all the time, but today was very enjoyable and everyone I spoke to was friendly and welcoming.

Thoroughly recommend to any members who'd probably avoid matches and occasions where they may not know anyone. I'm happy with my 19lb 3oz as I probably finished about 10th overall.

Thanks to all....see you next year if not before on the Trent somewhere.

Had a really poor day but had plenty of laughs with Tony and dirk. Dirk drew the flyer spoke to the fishery owner after the match he told me he was happy dirk drew there as if a decent angler drew it he would be there all night weighing in ??????. Well done to Andrew on a good win and all the section winners and runners up. Thanks to scribe and the other organisers for all nice day and plenty of banter
