Quick question, does the 3.5pints of maggots rule apply to our match...?

3. 5 PINTS OF MAGGOTS AND CASTERS (Total) (This includes live and dead maggots)

@Dave yes it does as it's in their general rules for the fishery. There is a more extensive set of rules for there open match.

NB: Have you been donated a gallon of maggots ? :D

My reading of the rules is that it is Point 3 5 Pints of maggots and casters (this includes live and dead maggots)
But I am willing to be wrong

Kevin,

Any chance of re-printing the rules please and please confirm draw and start time. I have sent you my mobile number if you can send me yours, so i can notify you if I have any problems of getting there. It would be nearly 250 miles I have to travel in 14 hours plus some sleep time in-between. But still hoping to be there.

Thanks @jononcb I am bit tied up with work at the moment to respond, so appreciate that.

The rules are their Open Match Rules so more extensive than the standard fishery ones. For the avoidance of any doubt RULE 13 DOES NOT APPLY to the Pork Pie Match, it is an Open Match rule only.

Does anyone know if the casters they sell are ones they turn them selves, get from a local maggot farm or the prepacked ones that smell of something horrible.

They get their maggots & Casters from a local farm that I do know - I suspect it's Bennington Bait I believe, but don't quote me.

Only had maggots off them, not sure about the Casters!
Maggots have been decent quality though and a cheap enough price.
