Alright guys

Managed to bag myself a Maver Competition 201 16m locally from a lad who was upgrading. After months of reading pole reviews and considering extra top kits for my old 12.5m milo ive over the moon to have something that can reach most areas ill need!

Just after some advice though if poss...

The number 5 and 6 sections have both suffered a break at some point and have been telescoped. Does anyone know how easy spares are to come by for a competition 201, what sort of price may be looking at and where might be the best place to enquire? I'm based in Darlington.

Probably going to be around back end of March once done a bit of saving again!

Tia!

depending on break..could be £20..you post item to them..then they repair and post back to you at your cost...there are plenty of companies that repair poles when you look.just ask for recommendations from others on here..or people you know.

Any pole from the competition or match this range are interchangeable so any sections from any of them will fit yours, always coming up on eBay, prices vary from £25-£45 , a repair from pole doctor will cost you at least £30, plus £15 post, plus you’ve got to pay to send it there 🤷‍♂️

Have a few options now cheers for the advice and messages 👍 Also If anyone happens to knows of any good repair services in the north east ideally around the Darlington/Teesside area that would be grand 😬👍

There are some competition 481 sections for sale in the classifieds that might be of use

Seen quite a few older Maver poles & sections on Facebook Marketplace this week. Take note of Chefster's advice regarding compatible sections & have a gander on there.
