I just wondered if anyone had tried the Matrix Horizon Pro 11ft (or 12ft) waggler rods?

I think they were released just before lockdown so appreciate not a lot of people will have them yet but looking for a new pellet wagg rod and they looked interesting.

I will try and get my hands on the in the shop when things open back up but just wanted to hear people’s thoughts?

Had a waggle of the 11ft version in my local tackle shop just Saturday gone £160 quid I believe, build quality was nice, only had 5 mins with it obviously but it felt very geared towards commercial carp fishing, blank was nice and slim and felt light enough to me, although I must admit the weight of a rod doesn’t really bother me at all, there all light these days in my opinion, there’s fellas on here who really really no there stuff when it comes to pellet wag’s\ wagglers and will be able to help you more then me or maybe even point you in a different direction based on the price range, but as I said yeah it felt nice to me when I was holding it.

It’s a bugger at the moment as far as rods go. I’ve been after an 11ft float rod similar to a pellet waggler but hadn’t settled on one despite good recommendations on here. Finally pulled the trigger on a Greys Prodigy TXL 11ft Specialist Float - £60 including postage. I’ve owned Greys rods before & always rated them.

I know, it seems tough getting hold of most fishing gear given what is going on. I bought a 2nd hand greys barbel rod which I’ve not actually been able to use which feels great tbh. They have a very good reputation.
