Bob,
you don't say which model your rod is,but the main thing is to make sure that your tackle is balanced.Don't be tempted to use a mainline that is to heavy for the rod as it could lead to you putting to much strain on it.Assuming that it is not one of the Power Waggler rods it should still be fine for most species, roach, rudd, bream and even small carp up to about 5lbs.Just be aware of it's limitations, thats not to say that it will not be capable of landing larger fish, just that it may take a bit more time and patience.Unfortunatly i can't help with a fishery as it is not my neck of the woods, but i'm sure someone else can.
Good luck,
Peter.

Hi Bob,

Here are two fisheries that have been recommended to us:

MAKIN FISHERIES, Wolvey, Nr Nuneaton, Warwickshire. Mixed Fishery. http://www.makinfisheries.co.uk

KINGSBURY WATER PARK, Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire. Telephone 01827 872660

Give them a try and let us know how you get on.

Regards, Dave
