Hi all..
I'm planning to buy a rod and a reel for match fishing..
I have some combinations in my mind and would like to share them with you..
Pair 1)
Rod: Shimano hyperloop match
Model Hyperloop Match 420FA
Reel: Shimano super aero r

Pair 2)
Rod: Shakespeare Powerplay Match Rods (1834)

Pair 3)
rod: Maver Nembo Power 13' Rod

The last 2 with one from the following reels
-Okuma Genic Match and Feeder Reels or
-Shakespeare Summit 5000 Rear Drag Match Reel (2507/035) or
- Okuma Epix ER Rear Drag Reels

What do you think?

Forgot to mention that:)
around 80-90(that's why the shimano could only pair together)..But i would rather not go that high if a good cheaper combination comes up..)
From searching the inet those items are around these prices..
Pair 1)
Rod: Model Hyperloop Match 420FA - 35
Reel: Shimano super aero r - 50

Pair 2)
Rod: Shakespeare Powerplay Match Rods (1834) - 50(the 14')

Pair 3)
rod: Maver Nembo Power 13' Rod - 56

The last 2 with one from the following reels
-Okuma Genic Match and Feeder Reels - 25 or
-Shakespeare Summit 5000 Rear Drag Match Reel (2507/035) - 28 or
- Okuma Epix ER Rear Drag Reels - 40

Ans some more questions that came up to me..
-Would a freespool reel perform better than these 4?
-Also..Is the most expensive combo of all ,the maver rod plus the okuma epix reel, the best one in performance too?
