im not sure which net of tench you mean about 1yr ago i had 19 for 69-02,
afew weeks back i had 11 for 46-00 2weeks ago i had 4or 5 then today i had 2
all these came from same peg next to clough bridge ,Parson Drove
out of a drain called north level main drain which runs along the cambs / lincs border. this particular peg is more renowned for pike & is probably the most fished peg for pike in the country during the winter with someone on it at least 4 -5 times a week.
The tench were all caught on worm (mostly lobworm) over chopped worm & caster on the pole.
hope this answers your queery

well the north level also holds the river 5hr match record 230lb of bream(54) in a 5hr match aug 11th 2001
also the largest pike to come out of a river in a britsh pike championship match or qualifier came out at 31-07 again from north level
