Marsh AC 10/6/07 Rockells Farm

Today saw our club visit Rockells Farm in Essex. Its our first visit to this fishery although I did run a Christmas match here last year. It has a good reputation as a big weight venue and it didnt let us down today with 7 ton plus weights and several PB match weights.

I was again a pleasure to welcome into our ranks Keith Ashby and Vic Nugent from GOT baits as our guests for the day and their long journey was well rewarded with impressive weights.

Total for the day was 1658lb between 19 anglers a very impressive average of over 87lb each especially bearing in mind that we are only a small club of mainly pleasure anglers.

Thank You all for the invite, it was a pleasure to meet and fish with you guys. As you have said above the fishing was very good overall with a lot of personal bests being broken along the way. Rockells Farm is a cracking venue and I am sure the fish are on steroids.

Unfortunately I cannot make your next one as I am fishing another match on that day, but please let us know how you get on.

Vic is still keen though.
