I normally use Middy Hi Viz Red (14-16) and it normally stops 'em. (Not today though....got smashed in the reeds).
If it's particularly snaggy & I'm fishing one of our waters which has some hard fighters, I've also got some Drennan Red Bungee (18-20)

Preston 17 hybrid is excellent and if snaggy middy 18-20. I have one kit with 3/4 kit length of 18/20 middy attached to a short length of power gum on a winder bung for big fish in snag pits!

Preston slip solid 16 for snags. The middy 18-20 is softer than its rating suggests

depends how snaggy it is. I typically use KND red hollow (17ish) or Preston hollo (yellow) both perform really well. If really snaggy I have used Middy 18-20. Was not keen on Preston hollo 19 (purple). I use mainly slik type elastic now but have not changed my heavy hollows over but when I do one will defo be a trial on a heavier slik grade as all the ones Ive used (up to 16) have been great

Purple hydro if no really snags. Red Slik if snaggy. I've used both and had several big fish out last season to 20 lb on both.
