Magnifying Lamp

Just tied some rigs for tomorrow. Managed to do 5 and struggled. Canal floats so very fine silicon tubing and thin line... that's the bit I struggle with.

I remember when I used to sit and do them on saturdays as a kid, it was never the easiest job due to the diameter of the rubber, but it takes me twice as long these days due to fading eyesight.

So I need a magnifying lamp. Don't want to spend too much, anyone got any suggestions of good cheap ones?

I was the same, mate. Bought a magnifier/light from Lidl but it's not much cop. However, I have recently bought one of these & it's great for getting the silicon on the line.

I got a usb one from Amazon, I only got it a couple of months ago and I would be lost without it now. I even tie banded hooks using it.

I use an old lab one with a daylight fluorescent tube, fantastic but they aren’t cheap anymore.

Sometimes just more light is enough if not add some £1 glasses
