Sorry all with not being able to get close to the pegs I will have to pull out, I can only walk very short distances and I don’t want you having to draw me a compassionate peg as I don’t think that makes for a fair draw, left it till this am on the off chance ground would be drier and spoke to Alex in the shop and asked if he would let me drive to peg and he couldn’t, I understand why, so wish you all well for the day and my apologies.

Sorry I didn't make it Dave,got lost as usual,new sat nav seems to have a mind of its own when trying to put an address in,got into Lindolm and was surprised to find that normally a village only has one idiot,I asked four people for directions,got three different answers and a blank look,I developed a stinking cold yesterday while fishing with my brother and finally decided that I didn't want to sit out in the cold for 6 hours,anyone know what I can do with two dozen mince pies that I brought along as 'afters'

So as the Mr was feeling a bit better today, we managed to get out for a visit.

And what a beautiful day to be out fishing.

Both @Peter and @Dave where catching .... Whoppers!!!!

But who will win the nugget? Peters already got a sweat on at the thought of loosing one.

I enjoyed a walk round the lake, took mugshots photos of all the participants. Finally met up with MDs version of the Royal family, (Mr and Mrs Munch -BTW I mean the TV family not the posh Royals!!!!)

I will put them up when I get all the names from the peg numbers after the results.

Was a bit worried when I reached peg 5, heard a crack from the camera but on checking it was nothing to do with the subject of the photo breaking my lens.

A brilliant day amongst great company, and a fantastic fishery

I had to succumb to giving Peter one of his nuggets back, I'm not sure I could have taken anymore sulking if I'd taken another from him
So I asked the Gods to put me in the 'B-stard' peg as it's locally known, and just to add more complications to deposit half a forest worth of leaves into it which killed any chance of fishing the margins, plus filled up the tree line and even out as far as top-two plus three sections.
The feeder was a no-no as the line just sat on top of the leaves and I'd left my skypod at home

Please ignore any future advice I give related to fishing as I'm beginning to believe that I can talk the talk but can't walk the walk

Hey munchies should have said hello lol I wasn’t being ignorant just thought you were a regular Bert and Sheila out for a wander .
