Any tips on how to get maggot to go caster
in say oooh, from tonight until sat morning?

I know, I know. I forgot and used up the
2 bloody pints I bought on Sunday. [:I]

Any tips? [:D]

I put mine in damp sawdust and just leave them a couple of days in my garage on top of the fridge and they start turning. When they have turned, I riddle them and put them in water to get rid of the floaters. [:)]

hi trev
what i would do leave them out
in a bucket on the kitchen shelf
when they start to turn riddle them off
if you have white caster just put them on a damp cloth
fold over and in about two hours they turn a golden brown
keep checking otherwise they will turn into floaters
then put them in a plastic bag with the air sqeezed out
put then in the fridge,
if you do get floaters dont throw them away crush them in your ground bait or use them on the hook
take note what colour caster is on the hook
sometimes the fish like them dark orlight what i do is use a double on the hook one dark one light and see which one they prefere
hope this helps

Thanks guys. [:D]

I should have just enough time to prep some
casters for the fish-in.

I normally just buy some and leave em in
a bait tub for a week [:I]
