lure fishing for chub

has anyone got any good advice for lure fishing for chub i have got a 2 inch eddystone eel that i use for sea fishing has anyone ever tried useing one with any success with chub or can anyone recomend any proven lures


i love catching chub

Try using a small crayfish lure.Ive used one a few times and had some good results.
Tiger minnows made by Fladen are another good one.

Shakespear Big, midi or small s lures. The floating plugs are great on the rivers!

I have taken several 5lb + chub on a shakspeare dradgonfly jointed plug a 5 inch jobbie. The first was admitadlly whilst piking but the others were targeted.

Well the moment the chub is in the bottom left of your original post with its head facing to the right. I could have sworn when I looked at this thread last night the picture was on the bottom right facing left!!!

I only had a couple of glasses of plonk and a can of cider, honest guv.
