First pond 2 1/2 to 3ft deeper just on the far side, bottom pond goes from 2 1/2ft to about 4ft in places, margins from about 18” to 2ft. Full of F1s, and a few carp that go to double figures, most methods work. Pellets on pole, down the edge or small feeder / method feeder. Its also full of small silvers and skimmers. It’s a bit shallow as a winter venue, but still fishing well at the minute, if it’s warm then shallow and pinging 4mm pellets can really work. Doesn’t take much to get them on the feed, watch your margins soon as they look to be muddying up thats the place to be. I tend to use fishery pellets 4 to 6 mm on the hook and sweet corn as a change bait. Plenty of islands to use as features to fish to, but most of the time you can catch close in, but if it’s dead method to the islands tends to get a couple but no big splashing a big feeder in its too shallow, small feeder or little bomb and pellet cone.
