Martin err right just get me brain in gear........ All depends on what area she draws really. Our lads had a match on there down at a place called the Swingbridge and 3lb 6oz won it all made up of bits really. Its very heavy with boats at the min so she might be as well to take some anti shipping mines!!!. No really boats are big prob at the min. Id fish the far bank on pole but watch the idoits on bikes. From what ive been told maggots not that good but take some. Fish pinkies red bronze flouros. Take casters and loads of hemp as you normaly can get the Roach feeding on the hemp. If its warm try cloud bait little balls every but in. Try whip down the inside for Perch. Eer bread might be an idea as if shes at the Town end near the Boat pub or Glebe Street or Nottingham road there are a few Ducks which people feed. Fish as light as poss' but bear in mind there are afew Carp and Tench about!. Local tackle shop to ring for info is Soar valley Tackle on 01509 231817 Rod who owns the shop will be more than happy to help. Plus he'll give you up to the minute info. Hope all goes well for her.
tell her good luck from all at TJs Anglingicon_smile.gificon_smile.gif

hi all
sorry its late but have had a lot on
Samm drew peg E7 permanant peg 211 about 200yds from pub (i think it was called boat inn or boathouse inn) we got down to her peg & found fence 2yds from waters edge no feature opp & dead moorehen in front of her.
2 pegs to her right there was a boat opp
starting from 2 pegs to her left there was a row of trees on opp bank for about 6 pegs pegs in a row all overhanging the water
she set up three posible lines 1st 4mts, 2nd 4mts to left at about about2o/clock, 3rd straight over about 9mts

line 1 was fed with 2cups of groundbait laced with sqautt & pinkie
line 2 2 baitdroppers of chopped redworm & caster
line 3 2 cups of chopped dendros,caster & hemp
any way she stuggled for bites on all lines but ended up with 420grams
we found out afterwards that the hot pegs were to her left with the pegs to her right a close second both these pegs produced with the winning wieght for juniors comimg from 2nd peg to her left with some decent fish coming out from under the tree .
any thanks to stikfloat, malc &everyoneelse for there help

tight lines.
