Can anyone recommend a feeder rod and reel combo for chucking 70 yards? Fishing for bream - not big lumps.

Ideally for around £150-£200. Is that even doable?

I only need it for the occasional match so don’t wanna break the bank.

Thx in advance

I would say you need to up your budget, the gear you can afford, is probably not going to be very enjoyable to use for that price, £200+ on a rod, and £130 on a reel

Good advice mate. But I would tend to spend more on a good quality reel and slightly less on the rod. My basic feeder setup cost roughly £300 for rod and reel. Not cheap by any means but far from expensive.

Browning CFX range 13 foot or Shakespeare Agility continental with a daiwa Black Widow 25a together towards the lower end of your budget but would do the job.

12'6 Cast'izm feeder and a Daiwa Procaster Evo 4010a

That is ballpark £200 and will easily get the distance and then some.
