He's a greedy little so & so, must have something to do with the surname.

Chelsea got rid of him because he wanted too many s, he was also given the chance to play CL football with the Mancs, Spurs, and Arsenal so it looks like the scallys were the highest bidder.

Considering they are reasonably skint i would say not. I bet City offered him a better basic wage than Liverpool.

Quality player though, and in his prime at only 28.

I think Spurs actually offered more than Liverpool, but the Reds guaranteed him first team football, rather than his own seat on the bench!
