Leven Canal

Hi all,

I was thinking of a trip to the Leven canal soon (I haven't been there for several years). As it is almost an hours drive I wondered if anyone had fished it recently and had any comments to make. I know it can be prone to weeding up and would prefer not to have a wasted trip.

I havent personally fished the canal but if you do decide to take a drive to leven and the fishing isn't or doesn't look good i would recommend leven park lake fishery

I have fished there several times this year and caught large numbers of small fish. However i have also seen many other anglers catching large carp and my mate also caught several nice sized orfe on sweetcorn. Its recently been renevated at the far end with new pegs been cut out.

Sorry i dont have any experience on the canal but i hope this may help
