9 of us at Barby today and knowing there had just been a 3 day festival on the venue we new it was going to be hard going.
I've drawn peg 35 and by a very narrow margin scraped the win by just over a pound! Caught across on pellet and left margin on corn over groundbait. Had a few chucking a small feeder to pallet 2 pegs to my right.
Think franko has caught on dead reds and groundbait in the margin ( fortunately he's ran out of groundbait and struggled in the last half hour)
Jeff R has had a mixed bag for 3rd
Well done all for sticking it out on a tough day.

Your right Gaz there are some excellent anglers in our small club.
We need some more match anglers and that is one of the reasons for doing a few write ups of our matches.
We fish some of the best venues in and around the Midlands and have a great bunch of lads who enjoy the sport but also have a good laugh.
