Fishing on sunday, the river was up about 2 ft horrible chocolate colour. COLD [] Fishing for chub. Tryed the bread with bread mash. Worms, Cheese and maggots. Couldn't buy a bite. I openned a tin of meat and shot a single cube on still the same then i put two cube's on and had four takes instantly. Only got the one though. Just shows how something a bit different can make all the difference. So next time your out try two cubes, LARGE ones worked for me []

I watched Archie Braddick fishing a flooded Trent (is the level ever going to drop?) at the back end of last year. He was catching barbel on HUGE lumps of meat. To give you some idea, imagine two standard size matchboxes placed back-to-back!
