I hope Ben Robinson can find yet another able replacement.

The Burton job seems to be a great starting point for new, keen, managers in the English game.

Yeah. That's a really interesting one!

Could be the start of a lengthy career. Or it could go the other way. Brave.

You'll probably get Nigel Clough back.

I'm more than happy with Paul Clement, thank you! [:D]

I'd heard a whisper linking Nigel with the Chesterfield job.

Whoever takes over at Cheatersfield are in for a shock, they've become a selling club for some reason. They had a cracking little side when they won the league 2 title as much as that pains me to say it

Things do seem to have strangely awry at Chesterfield of late.

They certainly seemed to be on the up but then something seems to have changed.

Personally I'll be quite disappointed if JFH leaves Burton (although I can quite understand why) as I am that Smith has left Walsall. I've been thoroughly enjoying this season admit would be a great shame if either side fell out of the promotion chase because they have lost their managers.
However if it means that we keep Justin Edinburgh and he can lead us to promotion then I won't be complaining.

A backwards step for both parties I think. But I hope not.

As an exiled Sheffield United supporter Lurkio I can't say he did a lot for us apart from the cup runs, but I'd guess that like me all the Blades fans would rather he had got us out of Div 1

while at derby he did brill job under the restraints he had to deal with and think the sacking was at right time as it proved getting steve mac in and tinkering with good squad and getting bit more out of them but once Newcastle came calling he lost the team and again credit to board got rid at perfect time and gave a chance to paul clement who I thought big gamble but after watching them on sky and at pride park we have plan a plan b unlike last season if plan didn't work we was screwed and got team playing as a team not individuals so hope this run continues and we get to promised land
