Lakeside Caravan Park, North Somercotes Lincs. Local to me but members and bona-fide guests only. I find myself bona-fide tomorrow. Targeting Bream in 12ft of water, just finished my prep, weather set fair and really looking forward to the days fishing

Had a Great day, conditions ideal, 30lb of bream and skimmers. Always wondered why some anglers had spare 5 and 6 pole sections, its really awkward storing 12ft plus of line when ground baiting with pole cup on top 2 !

What an absolutely belting fish. Is there any better looking fish than a big Roach ?? I don't think so.

And yeah not many better looking fish about than big roach is there. Was a challenge to get a decent picture of it to do it justice tbh as was right at the limit of what I could hold one handed and was a bit too cosy a peg to lay down once I’d cluttered it up!

Was a cracking morning all round really.
