A few of us went there a couple of years ago. Fishing was good but you need to prebait a swim about 40 cricket ball sized balls of groundbait each night. Leave a bankstick and note saying you have prebaited and no one will touch your peg. ( unwritten rule of fishing Ireland ).Another good place to fish is Belturbot. River Erne in town centre very good for Bream. Hope you have a good time.....Haydn
Take nothing but memories, leave nothing but footprints.
Killywilly doesn't always give it's Bream up very easily. You could be lucky after a spell of prebaiting, but you may catch nothing more than Roach and Hybrids. Unlike some parts further south Roach have been esablished in this area for many years now and can make up some good bags. If Bream are your target fish though, I would follow Haydn's advice and try the river at Belturbet. If you're going in the warmer weather, a trek to Putiaghan Lake is a 'must try' for the Tench. In all, it's a fish filled area, so get some local advice, you're going to an area where you should be able to get it easy enough.
