Is there any one on here who works for or knows some one who works for test and trace or anything else to do with covid or does any one know a phone number were I can speak to some one about claiming to isolate.

A quick brief explanation about what it's about.

My daughter is in a shared house at Leicester uni . A member of the house as covid and everyone in thr house are isolating so my daughter can't go to work. The person who had covid gave test and trace my daughters mobile number but she asnt had a ping off trace and track so she can't claim the payment altho other people in the house have .

I need to speak to some one to what she as to or can do or speak to

Thanks in advance

Got to contact local
Council to claim.
if on benefits helps
If got less than £3k in bank helps.
My 2 kids had to isolate for 10 days.
Benefits received £0. Sick pay £104🤷‍♂️
No wonder a lot don’t bother to isolate
Ps. Don’t need to be pinged to claim

Cheers mate. My daughter as been told its up to £500 if you have to issolate. Shes a uni student so doesn't have savings and works part time in Greg's so isn't on a massive wage

One of my barmaids just claimed successfully, she only does around 12 hours a week & got the full £500 within a few days. She had to isolate because her son tested positive, she wasn't pinged.
