It gives me the greatest pleasure to announce our latest Staff Member

Following his recent completion of a gruelling degree course and having shown life-long commitment to Maggotdrowning, I have made an executive decision to create a new position within the Moderators and having interviewed a prospect 'Apprentice' I am pleased to announce that Norm is now the official 'Fish-ins Moderator'

please welcome him onboard [^]

Norm's role will be to attend as many fish-ins as possible and to ensure that harmony and humour are paramount
His other roles are to ensure that no one gets drunk and he has himself volunteered to 'test' members alcohol to ensure tht it is suitable to drink on a fish-in

Congrats Norm - you've been trying since I joined in 2001 so perseverance does pay off in the end.

Does this mean you have to start behaving like Beebs at fish-ins now? Not sure MDs can cope with two noisy and inebriated MODs at one event.

Think yourself lucky you've been offered pay, I've heard Dirk gets paid in kind for services rendered by Dave. Thats why he takes such a large tent on fish-ins.
