If you lost your current rods which would you miss most?

The green Excelsior is more recent than the 90s, though I'm not sure exactly when it was current. I suspect somewhere between 2005 and 2015. Until a couple of years back, one of my local shops still had a brand new one on their rod rack.

you may well be right Sam, although I’d go for the earlier end of that time period ... Shakespeare were marketing the mach 3 range as their top of range rods from about 2006/07 iirc.

The two rods I use most are 12ft matchpro ultralight and original Preston 19ft mini Carp, probably wouldn't be hard to find substitute.

My purple team daiwa connoisseur float rods I have won so much money on them on the rivers would be lost without them when fishing with them they are just like an extension to my arm. I would miss them that much if I knew who had them I wouI'd have them strung up In my garage and extract the

I just can’t separate an individual rod from others because there’s around eight of my rods that I regularly use and would sorely miss any of them if they were gone, and they’re all good rods to me.

15ft Hardy Matchmaker Specialist Float rod
13ft Drennan Acolyte Ultra Float rod
13ft Diawa Amorphous Whisker AMW13L Float rod
13ft Drennan MKIV Tench Float Rod
12ft 1.7lb Greys Prodigy ‘SX’ Barbel rod
12ft Greys Prodigy Multi tip Rod (with 1.5lb & 2.0lb tip sections)
2 x 13ft Greys Prodigy Carp Rods (2.75lb & 3lb TCs)
