Hi Jon,

I can sympathise with you, the last time I got out was for my Club's fur & feather and all I caught was a cold

Can't you get a mega battery pack for the PS2 or I'm sure there must be a Nash Bivvie out there with an electrical point lol

Well got down to Bury Hill and parts of the lakes were still iced up
so we settled on Bonds, which was half free of ice.
Down the ledge at 8mtrs dripping in maggot & fluro pinkies all session resulted in a nice catch of rudd & perch topped of with a couple of carp, the best of which (a common) weighed 8lb 9oz.

All in all quite a pleasant day.

Peter,
Thanks for sharing that, a very very nice day, lovely!
Please check English Grammar- Litotes (Under Exaggeration)
With my lake still clinging on to ice at 3.00 pm (but threatening to be clear by the time I arrive at 7.30 tomorrow) I hope to emulate you.
In fact if the carp feed, even the small ones then I'll say a fantastic day!
Tomorrow is the 1st day of the rest of my life! oooops its 00.04
Today Is ENJOY

Peter, very nice too.
I haven't fished Bury Hill since 1987. I see it has grown a bit since then.
How much to fish on a day ticket now?

Geoff
If it swims, catch it.

Thanks Geoff,
Its 10 pounds for one rod,and i think 5 for each extra rod(not sure though as you can only fish with 1 pole at a time)It has changed quite a bit since 87,mostly for the better.
If you want a few more details have a look here

You Scousers,
you lead such a sheltered life up there.
10 is only the equivalent of a couple of pints down here!
No i ain't crying in my beer,it's been watered down enough......LOL
