Being a tight-ar$e I have spent a mere tenner on a few bits n bobs.
I didn't see the point of spending loads knowing I have no chance of winning. The Least Weight Trophy cost me a tenner, with postage, and a pan of Scouse will cost a fiver or so, for Friday night. Three bottles of wine for a tenner out of the ASDA and a few teabags out of the cupboard.........sorted[:T]

What this jolly is costing me....

Actual expenditure so far:

15 - Entry fee for the match (ok, that's a given.)

90 - Two nights in a Doncaster hotel (room originally booked for one person, now there's three of us staying......should be cosy!)

35 - Odds and sods from the local tackle shop.

81 - three full EA licenses, one for me and one each for my wayward and forgetful sons.

12 - Joining fee to become a site supporter and getting involved with all this nonsense in the first place............. [:D]

233 so far! [:0]

Anticpated costs for the weekend:

100 - Petrol, there and back; now that we're mob-handed, I've got to take the wife's old Volvo Estate. She's a juicy old girl, but still goes well when you put your foot down. (The car, that is...............)

25 - Scoff on the journey up Friday night.

30 - Liquid refreshment on arrival, either doing a recce at the lakes or a local bar.

30 - Breakfast for three on Saturday morning.

30 - Pools (you mad fool) and last-minute bait and must-haves from the tackle shop.

50 - "Apres-Match" socialising.

15 - Minicab back to digs.

25 - Scoff on the journey home Sunday morning....

That's another 305...........[:0] [:0]

So all in all, this weekend is going to set me back a conservative five hundred notes and you know what? It's a one-off occasion in a good cause and for that reason alone.............

IT'S GOING TO BE WORTH EVERY SINGLE HARD-EARNED PENNY! [:D][:D][:D]

so far i spent about 100 on stuff, but it was birthday money that id have used for new gear anyway.

bait can wait till i have drawn my peg as i understand the lakes all fish differently so i will get it from the shop at lindholme after i have drawn.

i reccon sat should cost me 100 or so as a very long day trip unless of course i see anything else i really want in the shop [:D]
