Jolanta, I would imagine these dealers are looking to give you as little as possible for your vintage tackle as the're out to make a profit. Most vintage tackle isn't worth much unless its a big name ie Hardys. I kept my granddads tackle and and used to use it once a season fishing for tench Mr Crabtree stlye, people who know me will probably say I fish like that all the time
I was actually contemplating, rather than selling any, using some of the rods, reels and floats as wall d******ion as I have a rather olde worlde cottage. The thing which was putting me off was that it would make the place look too much like a riverside pub...
