How far out do I fish?

Thanks for all the comments I’ll take them all on board. I’ve never even fished a match before so wanted to get some tips before I had my first one. Using my current pole and few top kits seems my best bet at the moment after reading through the posts. If I enjoy it and want to improve I’ll look at maybe another pole in the future

Apart from how far you fish what you should also consider is how deep you fish as on many many venues you cant win unless you master catching fish shallow because thats the way things are in warmer conditions.
