i actually thread mine onto the line then tie the loop around it, very secure and offers minimal resistance. another way is to loop to loop it onto the hair.

I tie mine within a uni knot

get a length of line, tie the band with a overhand knot, then tie the hook with a knotless knot done!

1. tie a normal hair rig
2. pass the hair rig loop through the band
3. pass the end of the hooklink through the hair loop
4. pull hooklink through and over hook down to band
