Thinking of tying up some hook lengths over winter, they should be fine being kept in a storage box for 6 months or more shouldn’t they.

I have some that must be 6 years old, as long as you keep them dry and dark you will not have a problem with them weakening in any noticeable way.

I tie my hook lengths as and when I need them to the style of fishing I'm doing. I usually do this the day or night before and put them in marked packets. I put the packets into a hook wallet.
