Here is a suggestion I just thought of. Should fans be permanently banned from attending football matches ? This season seems to be having more "honest" results than usual ! Could it be because opposing teams and officials are not being intimidated by thousands of home supporters ?

With fans I think Steve Bruce would be out of a job.
If not there would be no fans or not many attending st James park

if they went down that path, you'd get kick off times even more crazier than they are now, as tv companies pander to the overseas market

No they shouldn’t. Why deprive many hundreds of thousands of people the chance to have a day out. Plus, lower league teams depend on gate receipts as they don’t have billionaire owners.

Seems to be having an effect on home form for a lot of teams. Everton & Liverpool are prime examples. Neither have won a home game in 2021.

Also - think about the local businesses who rely on matchday income. The guy with the burger van, the bloke selling scarves & souvenirs, the pubs, cafes & chippies around the grounds. Their livelihoods have been destroyed.

On the flip side, I wonder if ticket touts are claiming furlough pay?
