Hi everybody,
Splodgers back ! ( i have had a cold ).

In seven weeks i am about to embark on my first fishing visit to Holland.
We are fishing the "overijssel" area of Holland, based at the "De Koeberg" holiday village which is four miles away from the town of "Heerde".
Has anybody any knowledge of the area or know of any website that can give me any info on it ?

Theres been loads of info on this i think in the june forum.We fished there about 3 years ago.The best river was the vecht,but only about 30lb.The issel is a nightmare massive working boats with waves up to 3 ft high then the water dissapears in front of you.Theres a bloke on site called richard he sends everyone to the same places.Ask him where wolfes tackle shop is near the vecht he will put u right,he is a local angler,his groundbait is cheap aswell so buy that first then ask him.Hattam is a nice town for a ride out go the chocolate shop for youre presents all own made.Watch out for the bikes there everywhere.Take youre trunks theres a pool on site.have a great time.Tight lines Neil
