Going here tomorrow to put a deadbait or two out and perhaps chuck a lure about if anyone else up for some Piking?

It's in Nottinghamshire for anyone concerned with Tiers, but closer to Melton.

It's day ticket and been informed it's about a fiver *if* the bailiff comes along.

Funnily enough when i went to Walkers of Trowell to get my deadbaits one of the fellas in there pointed out a stuffed / taxidermy pike up on the shelf and said it came out of hickling basin, would have been many years ago though

Well its all froze over and I got nothing to break it with think ill come back another day.

I looked at the weather yesterday and said 1C overnight, but low and behold it was -2C when I stuck my nose out.

Think I need to invest in some sort of heavy weight and length of rope for ice breaking
