When Martin and I were fishing yesterday he took some pictures of the Perch, Tench, Gudgeon and Roach I caught using my camera.

Unfortunately I set it to Movie Mode before I gave it to him [:I].

I now have some short clips (saved as .MOV files) of me with a fish in my hands.

Does anybody know of a way of getting a reasonable quality still image off these?

Thanks

Have you tried opening it up as individual objects in Paint Shop Pro or something similar?

I'm not sure if it would work but it might [:)]

No, the camera software recommends you use Quicktime or similar to view and manipulate the .MOV files.

The version of Quicktime I have (free downlaod) doesn't include the editing capabilities unfortunately.

Goto www.download.com and type in the search box "snagit". This is a very good bit software for capturing images from any media.
