Help needed to sharpen up a J-peg image

I am desperately in need of advice on how to sharpen up the image of a couple of j-pegs I have downloaded form a website and don't even know for sure if what I want to do is possible. Without wanting to bore you all, I have downloaded a cross stitch pattern from Multiply of Seville Cathedral that I want to do for my father in law for Christmas but the image has come out a bit blurry and I need to know if there is a way that I can sharpen it up so I can sew it without killing my already poor eyesight, lol. I would contact the person whose pattern it was originally but I can't remember who I got it from!! Any help or advice would be greatly welcomed.

You need a programme like paintshop pro
or if you have a epson scanner the software with that
will do the job hope that helps
