Hartleylands Farm Reservoir.

1st T E Payne 52lbs 12ozs
2nd P Ollerenshaw 49lbs 3ozs
3rd T G Payne 44lbs 14ozs
4th D Corneille 40lbs 2ozs
5th P Morton 26lbs 14ozs
6th T Myring 23lbs 11ozs

23 fished. just over 400lbs was weighed in.

Hartleylands Farm fishery comprises of 4 ponds and an irrigation reservoir set amongst organic orchards at Cranbrook in Kent.
The weather for the match was absolutly horrendous, strong winds and driving rain, but all things considered it probably didn't fish to badly, most peoples kit should have dried out before the next club match in 3 weeks time

The reservoir, which is the match water, would appear to be stocked with carp in the 1-7lb bracket and a good head of silver fish, mostly roach. For matches the fishery supplies every angler with two of their own keepnets and also
conducts the weigh in.A pleasant venue that we look forward to visiting again in more favourable conditions.

you woudn't belive how hard it is just to hang in there, although it is only a small club the standard is pretty high with anglers who fish for 3 different winter league teams among the regular competitors.
Despite this the atmosphere remains excellent as everyone consentrates on having a good day out and enjoying themselves instead of the win at all costs attitude that can invade some clubs.
The club will have been going for 40 years next season,so we must be doing something right!!
Cheers,
Peter
