Only a week to go for us Thursday-ites! [:T]

But I do have a few concerns:

- How is Mick (Godber) doing? I'm sure all of us are concerned.

- Is it still on? - Since Mick's last post and handover to Steve (Jessebobs )
I've seen no 'official' updates on this thread.

- Do we know how much each it will be for the portaloo? It would be
good to know in advance. (with only 7 showing as paid on the top of
this thread it might be a nasty shock if only a few turn up)

If you look at the Metcheck weather again now - It's going to be a bloomin' heatwave!
Temps in the mid to high 20's C , Hardly any rain and only light cloud cover.

... but it will probably be different again tomorrow.

OK I'm officially a bit worried now. Does anyone have contact with Jessebobs outside of these forums?
If you do, please ask him to pop in and say Hi.

Cheers

muskie.

Hi all, apologies for the lack of updates, I am not home at the moment but will post an update later with numbers and approximate costs
Brian, is that an official "I'm out"??

Me & Hamish are aiming to get there Thursday p.m. / evening hopefully.

I'm all excited again ... Ooh! I could crush a grape! [:)]

Good news. Looking forward to seeing you next week.

Evening all, I've spoken to Mr Bellamy and he will have a portaloo ready for us and is going to let me know the exact cost on Monday.
I will update then with all costs.
In the meantime, I have organised some good weather for the entire weekend and made sure there will be no rain!
I would suggest we have the "match" on Sunday and hopefully Spanky will bring the trophy with him to pass on to this year's winner.
And as per normal, I will be bringing the barbecue along.

The trophy is already packed. I'll be there from early Friday to early Sunday, looking forward to a few relaxed days fishing.

So we had better have our "match" on the Saturday then to give you a fair crack at retaining your title of Supreme Fry Catching Champion!

I don't know what you mean - some of those fish must have gone 4 to the ounce at least.

Saturday would be a good day for the match for me as well. I'm away Sunday mid afternoon to book into a hotel, have a 3 hour bath and become recognisably human again, before returning home on Monday.
