Can anyone recommend a hard fishmeal pellet that doesn't break down like scretting pellets do. I will be banding these on the method.

Thanks in advance [:T]

How long are you intending them to stay in the water? I use Skrettings, mainly as feed but I can soak them and they stay whole all day.

I have been told the skrettings only stay on for 5 or 10 minutes as they soak up the water very quickly but, with me fishing the methed this will be fine as I will be casting every 5 minutes anyway. Thanks for the advise.

I assume you are banding. They should be OK for this. I use an 8 mil drilled through which I pull a band on a hair. Also use them on the pellet waggler or when fishing shallow on the pole.

As Nathan says, oil is the answer ,,,,,,,some can break down really quickly in water . Veg oil or fish oil is all you need.
