How long is the training for a doctor?
How long is the training to work on production line. ?
I worked on cars. Every one is a killing machine.
Doctor makes a mistake could equal death.
Car worker makes a mistake could equal death
Who’s under more pressure
Doctors 1000%.
I could train someone to do my job in a few hrs.
No one checks the doctors work.

Strange but try to have 2 kiwi a day.
About 10 years ago a old mate had bowel trouble. Specialist told him to eat 2 kiwi a day with skins on as the skin acts like sandpaper and cleans the lining of your intestines. Not sure if it true but since I have been eating them I have never had any trouble in bog department.
Twice by 10 am and no more till next day.
And when I had camera up they said it was as clean as a floor after a electrian 2nd fix 😜
Ps I have to try golden kiwi soon.

Oh. Beach. He’s been on phone.

Really... make a mistake in production and some poor sod can die... possibly more if it's a big cock up.... it's part of a chain that filters down through the healthcare system... admittedly not as urgent as a docs work, but important nevertheless
I'm not disputing that errors can be made in any sector that could potentially cause serious outcomes however they're not in the slightest bit comparable. There are processes and procedures, sign offs and checks, set work patterns etc designed to minimise any human error. You could argue that where I work if an engineer makes an error on an aircraft it could potentially drop from the sky killing the crew, the reality though is that there are processes in place to check, sign off and double check that persons work. So I'm not saying mistakes can never and have never been made, but they simply aren't flat out the same.

no ones disputing human error but when one has extremely robust procedures and checks and the other has next to none they're not the same.

Having worked in the NHS as a senior charge nurse, alongside doctors from junior house men to senior consultants, the image of doctors making spur of the moment life or death decisions is a bit exaggerated. There are laid down procedures and protocols to cover most eventualities.
It is more likely that an ambulance paramedic would be called upon to make such judgments. GPs extremely rarely.

Not me. Some people like the pressure. I don't. Which is why I love the job that I've got as it's so stress free. My sister was telling me they don't want their daughters to become doctors and have considered Pharmacy for them instead due to the stress.
