Lee caught 100 squatt fish to go with 1 small tench of about 12oz and 6 caster roach.

only 12 Si, 1st one and i dont really advertise them mate.

And it was not well done...its the worse match i have ever fished,if there was any justice i would have gone dry.

Broke a number 4 section getting it out the bag,lost 3 tench on squatt, all my number two laccy's broke, after 90 minutes i did not have a squatt rig set up and broke both my catty's.

9 fished ( All got wet)

1st Gary Atkins 12-9-0
2nd Tony Garrett 3-12-14
3rd Ernie Thomas 3-6-2

Gary was on peg 69 and caught skimmers and hybrids on treble pinkie.

Torrential rain caused a drop in weights...this time last year we were all moaning because it was too bloody hot!

Hello Mate....too bloody right about the wind.

My brollies capsized 4 times and Phil and young Tims tackle both ended up in the canal.

Fished on the Tame valley,

1st Ernie Thomas 4-7-7
2nd Barry (Dudley grub) Lewis 4-5-5
3rd Tony Garrett 3-5-10

Ernie was on peg 127 and caught skimmers,roach, rudd and hybrids on squatt.

Bl00dy weather, Absolutey chucked it down again.

For the second week running Ernie stopped Barry from collecting the bonus peg (now 47), he was on peg 160 and caught roach and skimmers on squatt, pinkie and red maggot leaving Barry frustrated due to lost fish once again.

Tony had a good match catching skimmers on red maggot and pinkie.

Monday 23rd July.
Fished on Tame Valley at Hill Top West Bromwich.

1st Tony Garrett 6-5-5
2nd Ernie Thomas 5-7-7
3rd Pecky Whitehouse 3-12-10

Winner for second week running was Tony Garrett, this week he drew peg 163 on the other side of Holloway bank bridge and caught skimmers and roach on pinkie and hemp seed.

Ernie was on peg 159 and again caught on pinkie and Hemp

Pecky was on peg 152 and caught lots of small rudd on pinkie and squatt.

The canal again fished OK with everyone having a few bites despite it being heavily coloured due to rain and having an illegal match on there the day before,which we only found out about halfway through the match

Fished on Walsall canal on the "chemicals" section.

Peter was on peg 34 and caught roach on hemp to add to 3 small skimmers on pinkie.

Lee was on peg 31 and caught 5 skimmers on caster

Kevin was on peg 36 and caught 111 squatt fish.
